Bhai Gurdas Group Conducted Annual Athletic Meet
Bhai Gurdas Group has successfully organized annual Athletic Meet. Many students participated in various competitions of this meet including 100meter, 200meter, 400meter, 800meter races, short put, Discuss Throw, Javelin Throw, spoon race, single leg race and relay races. Students of Bhai Gurdas group of Engineering, B.Ed, Management, Polytechnic, Law, Nursing and Degree College participated in this athletic meet. Vikas Kumar (B.G.I.E.T), Jujhar Singh (B.G.I.E.T) and Mandeep Kaur (B.G.I.E) were chosen for best athletes. Team of B.G.I.E.T has won overall trophy and team of B.G.I.M.T has won honor of trophy. Team of B.G.I.N was selected for best march past award. At the end of athletic meet ceremony, participants were awarded with medals and prizes.
Hakam Singh Jawandha, Chairman, Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions and Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha, executive member of BGGI congratulated the winners for showcasing their talents and skills. They said that such competitions make students good citizens and helps to sharpen their interpersonal skills. They felicitated the winners and motivated young generation to play games, is important now days to give an edge to their personalities. Dr. Suvreet Kaur Jawandha (Associate DEAN, Bhai Gurdas group) also marked their presence at this auspicious athletic meet.
