Bhai Gurdas students participated in Pb Govt Startup India Program

The students of Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions presented Technical Projects Proposals in Punjab Govt Startup India Program organized at Bhai Guradas Group. The information regarding various self employment schemes and financial facilities were given to students in this program. Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha (Chairman, Bhai Gurdas Group Sangrur), Avikesh Gupta (S.D.M,,Sangrur), Amit Sharma(Project Head, Startup India Program) and Dr. Suvreet kaur Jawandha (Dean Colleges, BGGI) were present in this occasion.
Avikesh Gupta (S.D.M,,Sangrur) said that this program will put great impact for the success and development of the youth. Amit Sharma (Project Head, Startup India Program) said that the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Startup India, The Government of Punjab and Department of Industries & Commerce have committed to create a world class technology start-up ecosystem by fostering entrepreneurship and a culture of innovation which contributes to increased knowledge, wealth and employment in our society.
Chairman of Bhai Gurdas Group of Institutions, Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha said that a boot camp will be organized in Sangrur on first Feb, 2019. He added that through the Innovation and incentive scheme for Start-ups, the government intends to create an ecosystem that produces an entrepreneur in every family of the state.
