Biometric attendance back in Punjab govt department from today

Director Public Instruction (DPI) School, Punjab had issued an order of making BioMetric attendance compulsory from today in the secondary directorate office of the DPI Schools, Punjab.
He instructed the “Leave Manager” to implement the BioMetric attendance on priority basis. If anyone found disobeying the orders, he will be held responsible.”
Biometric attendance were stopped by Punjab government in all government, private offices during the Covid pandemic
The officer who had issued the orders Kuljit Pal Singh Mahi, PCS has been transferred on November 27,2022 in an administrative reshuffle and posted as Director, Pensions, Punjab.
