BJP ally Shiv Sena (Shinde group) sounds revolt bugle against saffron party in Punjab, Chandigarh

“Shiv Sena (Shinde group) is going to contest on all 14 seats including13 lok sabha seats of Punjab and 1 seat of Chandigarh on its own” said Harish Singla, Punjab President, Shiv Sena Bal Thackery CM Shinde group.
Today, Singla releases the first list of 9 party candidates at Jalandhar. He said that remaining 5 candidates (4 from Punjab and 1 from Chandigarh) will be announced shortly at Chandigarh.
Singla further added that party top leadership from Maharashtra will campaign for Punjab candidates after 25th May onwards. The party MPs, MLAs will campaign for its Punjab candidate from May 26th till May 30th , the last date of campaigning in Punjab
While releasing the list at Jalandhar, Harish Singla said that “we will raise our voice to the Lok Sabha regarding the problems of the people of Punjab and Shiv Sena will also raise its voice loudly against the religious conversion taking place in Punjab.
He further added that election promises of Shiv Sena are that the party will raise its voice to punish the culprits of the 1984 Sikh massacre. Shiv Sena also wants to raise its voice in the Lok Sabha to provide compensation of Rs 781 crore to the terrorism victims of Punjab announced by the Nanavati Commission and the present government of Aam Aadmi Party failure to give Rs 1000 per month to women.
Singla said that” the promises made by the leaders of all the political parties of Punjab to the people of Punjab were not fulfilled. To fulfill them, Shiv Sena has announced to field its candidates on 13 out of 13 seats and will fight with full force. The fight will be fought loudly on the flag of Hindutva. “
When asked Harish Singla about the party decision to contest lok sabha polls against its ally BJP in Punjab, he said “the party has alliance, pact only in Maharashtra not in Punjab. We are contesting elections on our local issues and to support us top leadership of our party will campaign for us in Punjab.”
When contacted Punjab BJP leader and party co-convener of the election management committee Anil Sareen on Shiv Sena (Shinde group) announcement to contest elections against its ally BJP in Punjab, he said” the party has no authorized office in Punjab. I don’t want to say anything on this issue. Rest the Shiv Sena (Shinde group) will give you the answer on this issue.”
When contacted Shiv Sena (Shinde group), party spokesperson Sanjay Moore said “we have not announced any candidate for Punjab, Chandigarh lok sabha elections. Our party has an alliance with BJP and we stand by it. Moreover the lists of party candidates are to be signed by party president Eknath Shinde and if anyone else has signed it than it’s not genuine. “
