BJP announces its candidate for Ludhiana Bye-election

The BJP has finally declared senior party leader Jiwan Gupta as its candidate for the Ludhiana West bypoll.
Selecting Gupta as the BJP candidate, the leaders said that the party had honoured the core committee members.
Jiwan Gupta, a veteran leader within BJP Punjab, has previously served as the party’s state general secretary and is currently a member of its core group. Known for his organizational skills and grassroots connection, Gupta has played an active role in strengthening the party’s base in the state. His name had been under consideration for the Ludhiana West seat in past elections, underscoring his longstanding association with the constituency.
The Ludhiana (West) constituency bypoll is being held following the demise of sitting MLA from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Gurpreet Bassi Gogi.
