BJP announces its Chandigarh candidate for lok sabha elections; another Sikh candidate fielded by saffron party

Bhartiya Janta Party today releases its 10th list. In today’s list the party has given the ticket to Sanjay Tandon in place of two time sitting MP Kirron Kher.
Sanjay Tandon is a Member of National Council, BJP & Co-Incharge, Himachal Pradesh, former president BJP Chandigarh (2010-2019)
The party has announced total 9 candidates .
This time saffron party has again given a party ticket to its Sikh leader SS Ahluwalia from Asansol in West Bengal. SS Ahluwlia is a former Union Minister of State in the Government of India, he is the member of Parliament of India representing Bardhaman-Durgapur Lok Sabha constituency in West Bengal in the 17th Lok Sabha (2019-2024). He represented Darjeeling , West Bengal in the 16th Lok Sabha, having been elected as its MP in the 2014 General Elections. Prior to entering the Lok Sabha in 2014, he was a Member of Parliament representing Bihar and Jharkhand in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament over several terms, 1986–1992, 1992–1998 (as a member of Congress), and with BJP in 2000–2006, and 2006–2012.
