Chandigarh MP and former Union Minister Manish Tewari strongly criticized the BJP, accusing it of killing democracy through vote theft. While addressing a public gathering at Shivalik Enclave, Manimajra, Tewari said that the BJP’s reality has now been exposed before the entire nation.

The MP emphasized that India’s strong democratic institutions are the backbone of the country, but the BJP has consistently tried to weaken them. He urged people to stay alert and understand the dangers posed to democracy by the BJP’s policies.

Reaffirming Congress’ commitment to the overall development of Chandigarh, Tewari said that several development projects that were stalled for years are now being pushed forward. He also assured efforts to resolve local issues, including property share disputes, Lal Dora-related matters, and other civic concerns.

During the event, Chandigarh Congress President H.S. Lucky said that Congress believes in inclusive development and praised MP Manish Tewari for raising several long-neglected issues related to the city’s growth.
