BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ released; PM endorses farmers’ contribution to nation’s progress

Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) today released its Manifesto – ‘Sankalp Patra’, with tagline “Modi ki Guarantee”, for the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024 just before the first phase of polling date in the presence of PM Narendra Modi.

Saffron Party’s manifesto was made by a 27-member manifesto committee headed by defence minister Rajnath Singh.

In his manifesto Modi highlighted Farmers contribution to the nation. He said “farmers have been a backbone of our nation’s progress. Whether it is historic MSP hikes, massive rise in procurement or making fertilisers available to them inexpensively despite globally high prices, direct income support through PM-KISAN, safety net of Fasal Bima, renewed focus on millets, expanded access to local and global markets, a number of steps have been taken to empower them. Our Annadatas are also becoming Urjadatas due to the PM KUSUM scheme. Empowered by our Beej Se Bazar Tak approach, our farmers have done wonders for the country”

On North Eastern sates , he said “we will continue our efforts to address the issues in the disturbed areas and remove AFSPA in a phased manner. We will further work towards resolution of inter-state border disputes amongst Northeastern states through sustained efforts.”

Under physical infrastructure, we are modernising highways, railways, airways, and waterways across the country. Under digital infrastructure, we are expanding 5G network, working on 6G and for keeping Industry 4.0 in mind we are building the digital infrastructure.”
  • We will launch a series of programmes to address the growing concern over safe disposal of e-waste.
