An expression of good wishes at parting and unsurpassed memories spent by the students of Std XII with friends and teachers was clearly sensed on The Blessing and Farewell Ceremony 2022, Jash e Rukhsat, held at Police DAV Public School, Patiala. The students of Std XI bid a fond farewell to the outgoing students of Std XII in an ardent and lively manner. The Ceremony for Std X and XII was held in the school campus. The outgoing students dressed colorfully, graced the special occasion with their majestic presence.
With an overwhelming desire, the students took the privilege to express their gratitude towards the mentors and floated cheerfully forth with emotionally worded speeches. The staff interacted with the students and expressed the hope that the students of class X and XII would fare well in the Board exams and be successful in all their future endeavours. This was entailed by Candle Light Ceremony wherein the students of Std XII glided the candle of knowledge ignited by the worthy Principal, Meena Thapar and handed their mantle of responsibility to the students of std XI.
The students of class XI presented a colorful show with Shireen and Nancy as the anchors and a lively dance performance by the girls. A song on friendship and happy days was sung by Arshpreet Kaur and Chhavi Aggarwal. The students of class XII also delivered valedictory speeches as a gesture to thank their mentors and reminisce the glorious days of their life.
The auspicious day saw the crowning of Harmandeep Singh as Master Police DAV and Navita as Miss Police DAV. First Runner Ups were Arshdeep Kaur (Girls) and Aman (Boys) and Second Runner Ups were Diya Sharma(Girls) and Jobanpreet Singh(Boys).Along with this a string of awards in eleven categories were conferred to the students of XII.
Blessing and Farewell Ceremony Jashn e Rukhsat 2022 held at Police DAV School. The ceremony culminated with a promise from students’ side to keep their values intact, they will always care for their parents and serve the nation through their work. The Principal, Meena Thapar, blessed and extended her good wishes to them for a bright, successful and prosperous future.
