BSNL launches Monsoon Dhamaka , 4G services in Patiala; subscribers ported into BSNL after recent hike in tariffs-GM

A Press Conference was organized at the office of General Manager Telecom BSNL, at Main Telephone Exchange Building,Leela Bhawan Patiala.
General Manager Sukhbir Singh, apprised the press persons on affordable mobile and FTTH tariff plans, and 4G services upgradable to 5G.
BSNL, a Govt owned PSU has already launched its 4G servicesin Patiala. Already 174 4G antennas have been installed in Patiala and installation of the remaining is going in full swing & franchisees. All mobile customers will get high speed data.
Existing customers using old 2G/3G SIMs are requested to upgrade their SIMs to 4G free of Cost from any of the Customer Service Centers of BSNL and start using 4G services with the existing tariff plans.
BSNL has not increased its tariff and it continues to provide best services with affordable tariffs in a transparent manner.
Private Telecom service providers have recently increased their tariifs. In last 10 days, 2034 subscribers have ported in to BSNL in Patiala.
BSNL is also converting its copper connections to fiber connections by offering very attractive tariff plans with high speed data without any extra charge.
Now BSNL has launched the scheme Monsoon Dhamaka where new Fibre to the Home (FTTH) customers will get the first month free and discount of Rs. 100 per month for next 3 months and free installation with free modem. Customers can book a new fibre broadband connection, change plan, book complaint, through Whatsapp Chat Bot number 18004444.
In the context of social obligation, BSNL is providing employment to youths by enrolling Bharat Uddhamies in rural areas, Direct Selling Agents, Rural Distributors, Franchisees, Telecom Infra Provider/Partnersin mobile and FTTH service provisioning.
