“Bullets and balls can’t go together”, strong message to Pakistan by Indian cricketers-Sazia
Sazia Jindal/ July 31,2025
Shahid Afridi made an instigating comment on the India Champions, the retired player team led by Yuvraj Singh saying, “Pta nhi ab kis muh se khelga par khelega hmare sath hi.”
In return the semifinal fixture which was scheduled in England for July 31, 2025 was officially called off as India refused to play with Pakistan because of Pahalgam attack incident. This is not the first time, Shahid Afridi always spews venom about India.
Even after losing 12 air bases, 5 air jets, 40 personnel, etc badly from India, he took out a rally in Pakistan calling their defense “unbreakable” just to satisfy himself and shame India. His behaviour is immature and stupid as India released drone footages showing the destroyed terror places in Pakistan.
Indian cricketers gave him a crisp answer by refusing to play with Pakistan Champions in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025. As India had withdrawn and given a strict message that balls and bullets can’t go together.
So Pakistan had advanced directly to the finals. India gave a great answer to Shahid Afridi. Earlier also India Champions boycotted their round‑robin match against Pakistan.
For Indian cricketers their country is much more important than playing with a nation that supports terrorism.
