BYJU’S – the learning app launches special placement drive in MRSPTU

The prestigious BYJU’S – The Learning App has launched a special joint placement drive for aspiring students in Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda. More than 350 students from various colleges enthusiastically took part in the drive.
BYJU’S – The Learning App is the common brand name for the Think and Learn Private Limited, a Bangalore based education technology and online tutoring firm, which is a dynamic and continuously growing Company.
BYJU’S through its campus connect program organised placement drive for aspiring students at the new administrative block of university campus. Aspiring students from various colleges participated in the drive which include, Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering & Technology (GZSCCET), Baba Farid Group of Institutions, Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology (MIMIT), Fateh Group of Colleges, Yadwindra University Campus, SSD Women College, Shahid Bhagat Singh Engineering College, Ferozepur among others.
More than 350 candidates have registered under two different profiles i.e. Business Development Associate (BDA) with CTC: Rs. 10 Lakh Per annum and Product Specialist (PS) CTC: Rs. 4.75 P.A.
The selection procedure includes group discussion, personal interview and HR interview being conducted by a Team of BYJU’s. Parikshit Kochhar, Senior Manager (sales and hiring) at Think and Learn Private limited conducted the Group discussion session for the candidates and interviewed the shortlisted ones. Personal interview/ video recording session will be done for the shortlisted candidates during second round.
MRSPTU, Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Mohan Paul Singh Ishar graciously welcomed Parikshit Kochhar and gave best wishes to the participating students. He reiterated his commitment for better employability and employment for the students.
MRSPTU, Director (Training and Placement), Harjot Singh Sidhu told that BYJU’s coming to conduct placement drive regularly at MRSPTU. He informed that last year 7 students of B.Tech final year of GZSCCET, MRSPTU, Bathinda had been selected for recruitment by the BYJU’s. The Company had offered attractive Rs. 10 lakh per annum packages to the selected students. Er. Haramritpal Singh, Er. Gagandeep Singh Sodhi, Er. Sukhjinder Singh, Er. Navdeep Khiva and Ms. Anantdeep Kaur played an active role for the success of the drive.
