Campaigning proved costly for a teacher; suspended by government

Campaigning, praising a candidate who is fighting upcoming Punjab assembly elections proved costly for a school teachers as the state education department has issue his suspension orders .
A government school teacher, Rajiv Handa, posted at Government High School at Ruhela village in Ferozepur district has been suspended by the state education department for the alleged violation of the model code of conduct. The department has taken the action after a video had gone viral in which the erring teacher could be purportedly seen praising a candidate in the fray at a public event.
