The Training, Placement and Career Counselling Cell of Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala organised a one-day seminar under the guidance of College Principal Prof. (Dr)Kusum Lata on September 17, 2024.
The theme of the program was Career Counselling and Guidance. Such programs help students to prepare for suitable careers since self-employment and entrepreneurship management. Renowned Career Counsellor and Consultant Manik Raj Singla (C3 Career consultants) was the resource person. He informed the students to explore, discover and pursue their passion to create a career path that is right for them. He advised the students about not to follow the crowd, but to follow their hearts and mind. he was able to address the Career related doubts of students.
The program was Coordinated by Dr Rajni Bala (Incharge Training, Career counselling and placement cell assisted by Gazal, Jasmine and Dr Gurpreet Kaur. This program will prove beneficial for students in planning and organising their career. The program was attended by 165 students and others present on the occasion were Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Dr. Tarandeep Kaur and Prof.Harmandeep Kaur.
The N.S.S volunteers of college also observed Cleanliness drive under the theme of ‘Swachhata hi sewa ‘ under the coordination of NSS Program Officers Madam Satinder Kaur and Dr . Harsimran Kaur as per the directions from the office of Deputy Commissioner ,Patiala.
Career Guidance Program and other activities at Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala. The Red Cross Unit under Dr .Tarandeep kaur also observed’World First Aid Day’The students prepared slogans and posters related to the event .
A program celebrating World Ozone Day was also organised in which the students took a pledge to protect their environment.Dr Jaspreet Kaur along with the members of Eco Club organised this program .
