Case registered in Patiala for busting crackers; 21 FIRS lodged against curfew violators

Patiala police has registered a case under section 188 IPC at Kotwali police station against un identified persons for bursting the crackers, during a nationwide “9 minute switch off lights and lightning of candles at residences, balcony of our houses”
As per FIR number 88 dated April, 5,2020 registered at Kotwali police station Patiala against the unknown persons for bursting crackers at Topp khaana mour, Patiala. When a police team led by sub inspector Ashok Kumar reached at the point, nobody was there at that time, so they registered the case against the unknown person.
Another interesting fact came to light that in curfew bound Patiala ,a total 25 FIR’s were registered on single day, on April, 5 in Patiala district, at various police stations. Out of these 21 FIR’s were registered against the persons, who found violating the curfew orders in various parts of the districts, be it Patiala, Bhadson, Patran, Rajpura etc. All of them were roaming in the streets, on roads, standing outside shops. All were booked under section 188 of IPC .
One FIR is registered at civil lines police station Patiala against a person for selling Indian made liquor. He was possessing 12 bottles.
In another FIR registered at Shambhu police station a person was found with 70 bottles of intoxicant and was booked under various sections along with 188 IPC for violating curfew orders.
