Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan, launched draft of National Credit Framework (NCrF) for public consultation. The Ministry of Education developed the NCrF to enable the integration of academic and vocational domains to ensure flexibility and mobility between the two streams of learning.

The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) fraternity under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari attended the inaugural event on the launch of the National Credit Framework for Public Consultation on Wednesday through online mode.

NCrF would provide numerous options for further progression of students and inter-mingling of school and higher education with vocational education and experiential learning. This will also enable students who have dropped out of mainstream education to re-enter the education ecosystem.
