Chandigarh gets new Deputy Commissioner

Ministry of Home Affairs has cleared the name of Haryana cadre 2013-batch IAS officer Nishant Kumar Yadav, currently serving as the Gurugram DC as the next Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh UT.
Chandigarh’s current DC Vinay Pratap Singh tenure ends in November.
Earlier, the Haryana government had sent a panel of three IAS officers to the UT administration for the post of deputy commissioner (DC), which will become vacant in November this year.
