Charity begins at home: Senior officers of Mohali district started a noble initiative

The senior officers of the District Administration SAS Nagar (Mohali) today came out with a benevolent gesture of sponsoring vaccination of an entire village in the district.
Sharing the details of the perfect case of charity begins at home, Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan said, “When you lead by example, you create a picture of what’s possible; it then becomes easy for others to follow. So, I along with my colleagues decided to pay for the vaccine of 18 to 44 years of population of village Masol.”
Citing the reason for choosing Masol, Deputy Commissioner informed that “the 45+ population of this village has already been vaccinated so we decided to cater to the remaining population, ensuring that the entire village stands hundred percent vaccinated.”
Besides Deputy Commissioner the officers who pooled to pay for vaccine are ADC(G) Aashika Jain IAS, ADC (D) Rajiv Kr Gupta IAS, SDM Kharar Himanshu Jain IAS, SDM Derabassi Kuldeep Bawa PCS and SDM Mohali Jagdeep Sehgal PCS.
In the meanwhile, in show of extreme generosity, Priyanka Gupta owner of ‘The Great Bear’, Sector 26, Chandigarh sponsored the vaccine for 18 to 44 year population of village Nagalgarhian, making the payment of the vaccine for 200 persons. “Let us all put in our might and join hands to save human race from the worst adversary ever known.”

and making payment @Rs.430 per dose, subsequently.
