Chief Minister lays Foundation Stone for 225-Bed Modern Hospital at Jatela Dham; announces Rs. 31 Lakh  for hospital

Haryana Chief Minister,  Nayab Singh Saini on wednesday laid the foundation stone of a 225-bed modern hospital at Jatela Dham located in village Majra (Dubaldhan), Jhajjar, on the occasion of the 225th Nirvana Day of Swami Nitanand Ji. He also inaugurated the Swami Nitanand Ashram Gaushala and planted saplings to promote environmental conservation.

The Chief Minister announced Rs. 31 lakh from his discretionary fund for the hospital. Besides this, Cabinet Ministers Dr. Arvind Sharma and  Krishan Kumar Bedi  also gave Rs. 11 lakh each from their discretionary funds.

Extending greetings on the occasion of Purnima, the Chief Minister said that Jatela Dham has become a remarkable confluence of faith, service, and environmental commitment. He described the Dham as a center of spiritual consciousness, gaining identity as a spiritual hub through the blessings of saints.

The Chief Minister emphasized that when guided by saints, society moves in the right direction, and no goal remains unattainable. He said that it is due to saints like Swami Nitanand Ji that India has become strong. He urged every section of society to adopt the values embodied by Swami Nitanand Ji. The Swami Nitanand Mission Foundation continues its mission of eradicating social evils.

Speaking at the inauguration of the hospital’s first phase, the Chief Minister said this institution will not be just a structure of concrete and cement but a true temple of humanitarian service. Once operational, it will provide essential healthcare to the people of the area, benefiting not only Jhajjar but surrounding regions as well. Every district in Haryana will soon have modern, well-equipped hospitals, said  Nayab Singh Saini.

He shared that the government’s commitment to Prime Minister,  Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’ and spoke about several healthcare initiatives launched for the underprivileged. These include Chirayu Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, free dialysis in government hospitals, Nirogi Haryana etc. The government has allocated Rs. 10,159 crore for the health sector in this financial year, said the Chief Minister.

Nayab Singh Saini further said that Haryana is the first state in the country to provide free medicines for Hepatitis B and C. Medical colleges are being established in every district, bringing the total number to 15. He said that the National Cancer Institute has been established in Badhsa,  Jhajjar and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to extending healthcare to every citizen. Over 1.33 crore Chirayu cards have been issued in the state.

Highlighting environmental efforts, the Chief Minister praised the Dham’s historic decision to plant approximately 82,125 saplings. He added that the government is also highly committed to environmental protection. Under the ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam’ campaign launched by Prime Minister Modi, Haryana exceeded its first-phase target by planting over 1.87 crore saplings and will plant another 1.82 crore in the second phase.

Notably, a large number of Veer Naris participated in the event and presented a Sindoor plant to Chief Minister,  Nayab Singh Saini as a token of their unwavering patriotism. The Chief Minister acknowledged Jhajjar as a land of brave soldiers and praised the region’s deep-rooted sense of nationalism and service.
