Chief Postal General Punjab visited Patiala to enhance working skills of its employees

The postal department is not only delivering letters, but also providing various other services, all under one roof.
Keeping the department officials updated, the Indian Postal Department has started a special drive to enhance the working skills of its employees with the aim of providing the hassle free services to the general public.
Under this special drive, a one-day training program was organized for the postal department officials at the Head Post Office at Patiala on 25th August 2022, which was presided over by VK Gupta, Chief Postal General, Punjab Postal Circle, Chandigarh.
Gupta taught the employees how to provide best service to the proud customers of postal department.
He also shared the importance of tree plantation. Later he planted saplings in the post office premises.
On this occasion, post office staffs including Prabhat Goyal Superintendent Post Office Patiala Division and He Ram Saxena Senior Postmaster Patiala were also present.
Gupta shared that “even today, post office savings schemes were popular and people were making safe investments in them since generations.The Department of Posts has upgraded itself with the changing times, which is a proof that today you do not need to go to the post office to deposit / withdraw money from the savings account of the Department of Posts, but you can do it from anywhere through ATM / Online Banking.”
