CJI Surya Kant to Grace RGNUL Convocation as Chief Guest

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala will host its 7th Convocation Ceremony 2025 on 23rd December 2025,a distinguished event celebrating academic excellence and the achievements of its graduating students.
435 Students from all programmes will be attending the Convocation from the batches 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Justice Surya Kant, Chief Justice of India, will be the Chief Guest of this event.
The Convocation will begraced by the presence of Justice Rajesh Bindal, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Visitor, RGNUL Punjab and Justice Pankaj Mithal, Judge, Supreme Court of India.
Justice George Masih will also grace the occasion. His daughter will also get the degree during this convocation.
“Their esteemed presence will inspire the graduating class and reaffirm RGNUL’s commitment to nurturing future leaders in law and justice” said vice chancellor RGNUL, Jai Shankar
Justice Sheel Nagu, Chief Justice, High Court of Punjab & Haryana and Chancellor, RGNUL Punjab will confer the Degrees and Medals to the eligible graduating students.
On this Convocation, the Honoris Causa will be conferred upon: Justice Pankaj Mithal, and Justice Rajesh Bindal.
Degrees will be conferred on three batches of LL.M. (131 Students), three batches of B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) (295 Students) alongwith LL.D. (2 Students) and Ph.D. Scholars (7 Students).The event will also witness the award of medals and distinctions to outstanding achievers.
