CM Mann hospitalized, is fine; test shows abnormality in blood pressure

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who admitted in a private hospital, Fortis at Mohali in an emergency condition around 12.30 am on Thursday, has been placed under observation at the hospital.
According to a bulletin on his health issued on Thursday evening, Mann’s condition is “fine”. It added that “Various tests are being conducted to assess Mann’s health. Doctors say the Chief Minister is absolutely fine right now and is not facing any problem. The doctors have found signs of inflammation in an artery of a lung, which is creating pressure on the heart. As a result, the blood pressure starts fluctuating. Some more investigation is to be done on this. Some blood tests have been done, whose report is yet to come. The CM will be kept under observation tonight and a decision on his discharge will be taken after seeing the report tomorrow (September 28,2024) morning.”
Earlier the government officials said that He was admitted to the private hospital for a “routine health checkup”.
