CM Saini to announce key initiatives for women at State-Level Teez Samaroh in Ambala on July 28

The festival of Teez will be celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm across the state, as Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini is set to make several significant announcements for women during the State-Level Teej Samaroh, scheduled to be held in Ambala on July 28.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reviewed the preparations for the State-Level Teez Samaroh at a meeting held here today. He issued necessary directions to ensure the successful organization of the event. Thousands of women across the State will participate in the Teej Samaroh.
During the State-Level event, the Chief Minister will launch various new initiatives of Development and Panchayats Department, Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission (HSRLM), Drone Imaging and Information Service of Haryana Limited (DRIISHYA), Women and Child Development Department, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, Industries and Commerce Department, Art and Culture Department, and State Urban Livelihood Mission, Urban Local Bodies department. These initiatives are aimed at empowering women and further strengthening their socio-economic status.
SHG Members to receive drone operation training
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to the empowerment of women by promoting their self-reliance and has implemented several schemes and programs toward this goal. He said that Self Help Group (SHG) members will be trained in drone operation through the Drone Imaging and Information Services of Haryana in a phased manner.
Sanjha Bazaars established to provide SHGs a platform for selling products
He said that additionally, to provide SHGs with a platform to sell their products, Sanjha Bazaars are being established across the state. These markets have already been started in Karnal, Rohtak, and Fatehabad districts, and are set to open soon in Jind and Rewari. The Chief Minister said that Sanjha Bazaars will be rolled out in all 22 districts of Haryana in a phased manner. A total of 9,640 Self Help Groups (SHGs) have been formed under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Urban Livelihoods Mission in the state.
Maliha Sanskritik Kendras established to empower women through cultural and social engagement
Nayab Singh Saini said that to provide dedicated spaces for women to participate in cultural, social, and religious activities at the village level, Maliha Sanskritik Kendras are being established within existing Gram Panchayat buildings. A total of 780 buildings across 21 districts have been identified for this purpose. Each Maliha Sanskritik Kendra will be equipped with cultural instruments, furniture, and other necessary utilities.
Additional Chief Secretary Women and Child Development Department Sudhir Rajpal, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Arun Gupta, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr Saket Kumar, Commissioner and Secretary Urban Local Bodies Vikas Gupta, Director General, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department KM Pandurang, Director General Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises D.K. Behera and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
