Non-invasive ventilation is an important and at times a lifesaving modality. Interventions like these, though they may seem simple, are not easy to accomplish. Choosing the right modality for the right patient is the first step.

For this CME the speakers were Dr Vijay Hadda from AIIMS New Delhi, Dr Akashdeep from DMC Ludhiana, Dr Amit Mandal from Fortis hospital Mohali and Dr Himanshu Garg from Gurgaon. They are using these modalities on a day to day basis and have a vast experience in accomplishing non-invasive ventilation. The speakers encouraged the participants to use this modality on a regular basis. They stressed the importance of proper patient selection and the importance of monitoring the patients regularly when put on this modality. A workshop and hands-on training session were also conducted where the participants had an interactive session.
