CM’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur attends mass marriage function

Baba Gazi Das Club Rod Majra on Sunday organized annual mass marriage ceremony for couples from needy families with the support of Gram Panchayat and local residents at Stadium of Village Road Majra.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Maan’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur congratulated the newly married couples and honoured them by giving siropas.
Talking to media at sidelines of event, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur said that the social work conducted by Baba Gazi Das Club, especially mass marriages, is commendable. She said that we all should always come forward to contribute for social services. There is no greater Karma than service to humanity. She also asked the Baba Gazi Das Club members to contribute for such social welfare works in the future too.
Speaking on the occasion,Chamkaur Sahib MLA Dr. Charanjit Singh said that a great effort is being made by Baba Ghazi Das Club by organising mass wedding ceremony. He also thanked Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Maan’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur to attend this event.
CM’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur attends mass marriage function. Club President, Davinder Singh Bajwa said that this year the club gave Rs. 31,000 teach to couples while next year couples will be given Rs. 51,000 each.
