Commerce Association formed at Mata Gujri College
Post Graduate Department of Commerce of Mata Gujri College has formed commerce association for the session 2017-2018. Amit Kumar, student of M.Com-II(Finance) has been elected as president of this association, Sunanda, student of M. Com- II as vice-president, Gagandeep Kaur, M.Com- I as secretary, Samanveer Kaur, B.Com-III as finance secretary, Ishita, B.Com-III, Ramandeep Kaur, B.Com-III, and Manjot, M.Com-II (Finance) as joint secretaries, Chandan Ved, B.Com-III, Ritu Garg, B.Com-III as cashiers, Damanpreet Singh, Suman of M.Com-II and Harshit of B.Com-III have been elected as press secretaries.
30 students will be executive members of this association who will contribute in various activities of the department. Prof. Rohini Gupta of commerce department has been elected as an in-charge of the association. Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh said, “The main aim of these associations is to improve inner skills of the students by indulging them in various activities.” Along with this, he expressed hope that in the future, this association will justify aim of its formation by its works.
Dean Academics and Head of the Department, Prof. Bikramjit Singh Sandhu congratulated student members and motivated them to participate in college activities.
