“Commerce Fete” organised at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Sri Anandpur Sahib

The PG Department of Commerce and Management at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Sri Anandpur Sahib, organized a “Commerce Fete” in collaboration with Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) . The chief guest for this event was Maninder Singh Sarkaria, Director of the Society for Promotion of Quality Education for Poor and Meritorious Students, Punjab, Mohali.
He encouraged students to participate in such programs to achieve great milestones in life. On this occasion, the college principal, Dr. Jasvir Singh, delivered a welcome speech, appreciating the organization of such events and announcing fee waivers for deserving and talented students.
Distinguished guests, including Maninder Singh (CMA) and Gurjinder Singh, also graced the occasion. Students from various colleges participated in different competitions such as Ad Fusion, Business-Themed Rangoli, Business Quiz, Business Model Presentation, Inter-College Stalls, and PPT Making.
In the exhibition of stalls, Government College, Ropar, secured first place, while B.Voc Retail Management students took second place, and M.Com final-year students secured third place. In the Business Quiz competition, SVSD College, Bhatoli, won first place, while the team from Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College, Anandpur Sahib, secured second place.
Additionally, various Self-Help Groups from outside the college also showcased their products.
The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Amarjeet Singh Chawla, General Secretary of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, with Jaswinder Singh Dhillon as a special guest. They motivated students to strive for success in life.
The Head of the Department, Dr. Manjeet Singh, thanked the guests and highlighted the significance of the event.
