Congress announced candidates for Jagraon Municipal Council elections

Congress party has announced its candidates for the Jagraon Municipal Council elections. Party observer Pawan Dewan announced the names during a press conference held in Jagraon today in the presence of former MLA Jagtar Singh Jagga, senior leader Rajeshwar Sidhu, Block Urban President Harpreet Singh, and Block Rural President Navdeep Singh Grewal.
Dewan stated that the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee has finalized the following candidates for the Jagraon Municipal Council elections, from Ward No. 1 Gurpreet Kaur (General Women), Ward No. 2 Avtar Singh Virk (General), Ward No. 3 Rajinder Kaur (General Women), Ward No. 4 Balvir Singh (General), Ward No. 5 Saroj Rani (General Women), Ward No. 6 Jarnail Singh (SC), Ward No. 7 Manjit Kaur (SC Women), Ward No. 8 Vicky Singh (SC), Ward No. 9 Parminder Kaur (SC Women), Ward No. 10 Bahadur Singh Jodhan (General), Ward No. 11 Vikram Jassi (BC), Ward No. 13 Anita Rani (General Women), Ward No. 14 Sukhchain Singh Dhaliwal (General), Ward No. 15 – Gagan Sabharwal (General Women), Ward No. 16 Ravinderpal Singh (General), Ward No. 17 Sudha Rani (General Women), Ward No. 18 Paramjit Singh Laddhar (SC), Ward No. 19 Karamjit Kaur (SC Women), Ward No. 20 Jatinderpal (General), Ward No. 21 Kavita Rani (General Women), Ward No. 22 Varinder Singh Kaler (General), and Ward No. 23 Gurminder Kaur Sevia (General Women). The candidate for Ward No. 12 will be announced later.
Dewan said that every section of society is troubled by the poor policies of the government. He expressed confidence that Congress candidates would perform strongly in the elections and secure victory with a huge margin.
