Congress asking to shut shops in Chandigarh to make Bandh a success

Today Congress in Chandigarh ensured that a nationwide call given by its party leaders, on the issue of rising of Petrol, Diesel, Gas prices and alleged irregularities in Raffle deal gets a good response. Earlier the Chandigarh Congress Unit declared that the bandh in Chandigarh will be a success.
To make this a success, the congress workers remained on their tenterhooks and ensured that the closure of market. Pawan Kumar Bansal, former Union Minister also appealed to the residents, businessman to participate and make this bandh a success. But Congress workers forcefully shutting down the shops, to make it a successful.
Even lady workers of Congress are participating and making this bandh a successful. The UT cops remained on high alert.
Bansal said the common man is suffering as the BJP government at the centre purchases cheap oil (crude oil) and is making profits by selling expensive oil to the people of the country. In the last four year and half , under their tenure, about 11 lakh crore have been earned by putting huge tax on petrol and diesel where has that money gone.
At Mohali, a rally was bought out against the rising prices under the leadership of local MLA and Cabinet Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu.
