Congress municipal councilor shot dead in Malerkotla

Mohammad Anwar, a congress Municipal Councilor from ward number 20, was shot dead, in the evening, near fire brigade office, at Malerkotla.
He is also running a marriage palace New Rani Mahal, on Ludhiana road, Malerkotla. Police reaches on the spot and is investigating the matter.He was taken to the hospital, by the passerby’s.
When contacted the family, his son said “police called us and informed us about the mishappening and we are unaware of the attack until police informed us ”
