Congress will win all three assembly seats of Rupnagar district in 2027: Suraj Singh Thakur

A review meeting of Congress was held at Congress Bhawan Rupnagar to strengthen the organization, All India Congress Secretary and Co-in-charge of Punjab Affairs Suraj Singh Thakur attended the meeting as the chief guest. All Congress workers were mobilized to prepare for 2027. assembly elections. On this occasion, former Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Rana KP Singh was also specially present.
Addressing the meeting, Suraj Singh Thakur said that in the upcoming assembly elections, Congress party will win all three seats of Rupnagar district with a huge margin and Congress government will be formed in Punjab. He strongly condemned the alleged false cases being filed against Congress workers by the Aam Aadmi Party government and said that Congress party workers have made a great contribution for the independence of the country and Congress workers are not afraid of anyone.
He severely reprimanded those party office bearers who remain absent from the meetings. During the meeting, former Speaker Rana KP Singh also addressed and said that people are upset with the excesses being committed by the Aam Aadmi Party government in Rupnagar district.
He said that the illegal mining going on in the district is continuously looting the money of the people of Punjab and is draining the treasury of Punjab, but the Punjab government is not serious about this matter at all.
On this occasion, the winning members of the Congress Party of the Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads were honored along with Suraj Singh Thakur. He also highly appreciated the newly appointed District President of the Congress Party, Ashwani Sharma, for this successful meeting and advised the members of the Youth Congress to take inspiration from him.
He said that the Congress Party has completed about 90 percent of the meetings in the district. All the district Congress workers were asked to prepare for 2027 by becoming strong and showing solidarity against the government’s tyranny.
District Congress President Ashwani Sharma welcomed Suraj Thakur and former Speaker Rana KP Singh on their arrival at Congress Bhawan Rupnagar and thanked all the workers. He assured to implement the agenda given by All India Congress Secretary Suraj Thakur.
