8 new cases were reported in Patiala today evening by Civil surgeon Dr Harish Malhotra. Out of these 8 cases, 6 cases were reported from Rajpura.

Out of these, 5 persons were a family and were staying near Gurudwara Bhai Mati Dass ji and the 6^th is a 42 years old resident who recently returned from Doha (Dubai) and is staying at Gurudwara Bhadurgarh Sahib quarantine centre.

A person of shergarh village in Patran area also tested positive.A 70 years old resident of Malerkotla also tested positive. He is already undergoing a treatment at Govt Rajindra Hospital
