As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 154 new cases and 6 deaths were reported in Patiala district. Yesterday 141 cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 119 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 2522 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 3922 with todays new cases and active cases goes to 1327
Corona update; more cases; more deaths reported in Patiala. Out of these 154 cases, 69 reported from Patiala, 18 from Rajpura,11 from nabha , 3 from Samana,19 from Patran, 1 from Sanaour and rest 33 from different villages of the district. These include 34 positive cases in contact tracing, rest from flu and non-flu patients in the Containment Zone.
According to Dr Malhotra, six more covid positive patients have died in the district today. A 56-year-old man from Markle Colony, 54-year-old resident of Kheri Manian Block Kauli, a 55-year-old woman from laut village in Nabha Tehsil , 73-year-old woman from Urban Estate Phase II, Patiala, 85-year-old resident of Nihal Bagh, Patiala, 58-year-old resident of Jagdish Enclave died today.
Four cases from Patiala’s Lahori Gate, Ragho Majra and Urban Estate Phase III, Dhiru Nagar, Guru Nanak Nagar three cases each , Ajit Nagar, Partap Nagar, Gobind Nagar, Gurbakhsh Colony, Jodian Bhattiyan, Century Enclave, Maharaja Yadavindra Colony two cases each, One each case from Model Town, Railway Colony, Jagdish Colony, Aman Vihar, Sirhindi Bazar, Factory Area, Jatta Wala Chontra, Mahindra Colony, Indirapuri Colony, Urban Estate Phase Two, Bindra Colony, Azad Nagar, Nihal Bagh, New Lal Bagh, New Lal Bagh Colony, Defense Colony, Mahindra Complex, New Shakti Nagar, Factory Area, Green Park Colony, Harinder Nagar, Walia Enclave, NIS, Sidhu Colony, New Officer Colony, Bhindian Street, Kartar Colony, Ranjit Nagar, Gulmohar Colony etc.
Seven from Rajpura Town of Rajpura, Four from Prem Nagar, Two each from Preet Colony, Ward No. 23, Vikas Nagar, New Bhagat Singh Colony, One each from Old Rajpura Adi Thanwa, Five from Basantpura Mohalla of Nabha, New Defense Colony , Bank Street, Gobind Nagar, Himmat Nagar, Ajit Nagar, One from Bansa Wala Street, One each from Luhara Mohalla, Civil Hospital and Ram Basti of Samana, one each from Patran Ward No. 4 to 14, Ward No. 14 and Patran City, one each from Udham Singh Nagar of Sanor and 33 different villages. There are three pregnant mothers and two health workers.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Malhotra said that in case of more positive cases in ward number four of Patran, micro containment has been installed there and eight places in the district including street number 20 and 33 of Azad Nagar in Patiala, Shiva enclave of Nabha, Gharama Patti of Samana, Agarsen Galli, Dalima Vihar of Rajpura, New Officer Colony and Arya Samaj Mandir area has been lifted.
