As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, highest ever 240 new cases reported in Patiala and 4 deaths were reported in the district. Yesterday 183 cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 128 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 6221 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 7898 with todays new cases and active cases goes to 1456.
Corona updates; corona bomb exploded in Patiala. Out of these 240 cases,150 reported from Patiala, 13 from Rajpura,1 from nabha , 4 from Samana and rest 72 from different villages of the district. Today 4 deaths were reported in Patiala and total death reaches at 221.Out of these 240, 142 cases were reported from containment zones and 89 from contact tracing.
Today 4 deaths were reported, 3 from Patiala and one from Patran and the death tally reaches at 221. A 78 years old resident of Guru Nanak Nagar, 56 years old lady of A Tank, a 46 years old resident of Vidya Nagar, near Punjabi University, Patiala and a 60 years old lady of village Khanouri, Patran were died today.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Malhotra said that in case of high positive cases from the area, micro containment has been imposed in Sarabha Nagar area of Patiala. In Patiala’s Guru Nanak Nagar and Jatta Patti in Samana micro containment area has been removed.
The city’s Prime Hospital has also been made an isolation facility of 12 beds. Apart from this, Amar Hospital has been upgraded from an isolation facility of 30 beds to 36 beds.
Today, in Patiala cases were reported from Dashmesh Nagar, Azad Nagar, Prem Nagar, Sirhindi Bazar, Virk Colony, Deep Nagar, Bank Colony, Military Cantt, DMW, Baba Deep Singh Nagar, Tripuri, New Bharat Nagar, New Lal Bagh, Arya Samaj, Urban Estate Face Two, Raghomajra, Ekta Vihar, Sevak Colony, Central Jail, Ravidas Nagar, Ratan Nagar, Badungar, Bahadurgarh, Sarabha Nagar, Anand Nagar, Charan Bagh etc.Similarly 13 cases of Rajpura from Rajpura Town, Purana Rajpura, Pacharanga Chowk, near Durga Temple, Patel Nagar, Dalima Vihar, four cases from Saamna from Green Town, Ajit Nagar, Wardach Colony etc., Bank Street of Nabha and 72 positive cases. There have been reports from different villages, including three policemen, two health workers and a pregnant woman.
