Corona updates; tie in new cases and discharged cases in Patiala;5 deaths reported

As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 172 new cases and 8 deaths were reported in Patiala district. Yesterday 118 cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 172 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 9323 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 11192 with todays new cases and active cases goes to 1557.

Out of these 172 cases,54 reported from Patiala, 22 from Rajpura,22 from nabha , 1 from Samana, 58 from Bhadson block, 6 from Kauli block, 5 from Shutrana, 4 from Kalomajra, 3 from Harpalpur block and 2 from Dudhan sadan in the district. Today 5 deaths were reported in Patiala and total death reaches at 312 .Out of these 172, 160 cases were reported from flu corners and 12 from contact tracing.
Today 2 deaths were reported from Rajpura, one each from Dudhan sadan, Harpalpur and Nabha. A 56 years old resident of Singla city and 65 years old lady from focal pont Rajpura,a 63 years old lady from village Binjal in Dudhan sadan block, a 60 years old lady from Rajgarh in Nabha and a 70 years old resident of Village Ajrawar tehsil Harpalpur were reported.
In Patiala cases were reported from Ajit Nagar, Guru Tegh Bahadur Colony, Nabha Gate, New Professor Colony, Harinder Nagar, Gurbakhsh Colony, Manjit Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Pratap Nagar, North Avenue, Gulab Nagar, Anand Nagar, Sukh Enclave, Tafjalpura, Mathura Colony, Shri. Niwas Colony, Chaura Camp, Urban Estate Phase III, Nirbhai Colony, Sundar Nagar, New Century Enclave, Ekta Vihar, Maharaja Yadavindra Enclave. Besides, cases have been found in different streets, neighborhoods and colonies. These cases coming positive in Ajit Nagar, New Officer Colony, Patiala city are being shifted to the isolation facility of Covid Care Center / Home Isolation / Hospital as per the new guidelines and samples are being taken after contact tracing.
Similarly Purana Rajpura of Rajpura, Near Arya Samaj Mandir, Ganesh Nagar, Kanika Garden, Adarsh Colony, Guru Nanak Colony, Mohalla Gujjara Wala, Dalima Vihar, Pratap Colony of Samana, Century Enclave of Nabha, Madhav Colony, Pandusar Muhla, Apart from Jails, Cinema Road, various other colonies, alleys, mohallas and villages have been found.
The micro containment in Ekta Colony Street No. 3 of Patiala has been removed, bringing the total number of containment and micro containment areas in the district to seven.
