Corona warrior Dr Bakshi and his team treated Covid positive patient’s fractured bone at Rajindra hospital

In another major breakthrough, the Government Rajindra Hospital today ensured treatment for fractured bone of a 45 year old Covid patient admitted in the MCH Covid ward.
Patient namely Gauri Shankar was admitted in the ward number 8 of the hospital after an accident. However, he was shifted to Covid Ward after his report was tested positive. In the Covid Ward a team of Medical experts led by Dr. Amandeep Singh Bakshi treated the fractured leg of Gauri Shankar. Dr. Bakshi was assisted by Resident Doctor of Ortho Department Dr. Deepak, who was himself undergoing treatment in the same ward after being detected positive, and Dr. Sahil.
Pertinently, this was the first case in Rajindra Hospital where fractured leg of a patient has been treated. Though, a case of hip fracture has also been treated in the same hospital. It was also significant that under the Mission Fateh launched by the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh the frontline Covid warriors of Rajindra Hospital were continuously combatting the Corona Virus.
Corona warrior Dr Bakshi and his team treated Covid positive patient’s fractured bone at Rajindra hospital.Till now eight Junior and Senior Residents Doctors of the Hospital have been detected positive and they were rendering marvelous service to the humanity by imparting medical service to the patients despite being admitted in Covid Ward. A Gynecologist Doctor inflicted with Covid was taking full care of a pregnant Covid patient at the third floor of Covid ward.
Meanwhile, Covid Care Incharge Surbhi Malik today unequivocally said that the Health care workers were serving the people zealously in this hour of crisis. She said that relentless efforts were being made by these warriors to save the precious lives of the people from scourge of Covid pandemic.
