Council of Junior Engineers welcomes Sran’s extension as CMD

Council of Junior Engineers of Punjab state power corporation limited has welcomed the extension of Baldev Singh Sran as the CMD of the powercom.
A delegation of Council of Junior Engineers met the CMD Sran and congratulated him on his extension.
The state government on Wednesday had extended the appointment term of Baldev Singh Sran, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited’s Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD) up to February 6, 2025, the date when he reaches the age of 65 years.
Baldev Singh Sran had retired as the PSPCL CMD on June 6, 2020, after completing his two-year tenure. The state government has appointed Baldev Singh Sran as the chief managing director (CMD) of the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) for the second time on 22nd. December 2020.
“He is well conversant with the nitty-gritty of the power sector of state and is expected to take PSPCL to new heights” said a spokesperson of the Council of Junior Engineer.
