After the expiry of 14 days judicial remand, the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi on Monday extended Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal‘s judicial custody by another week till April 23, 2024.

Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering investigation in the infamous Delhi Excise Policy case and presently lodged in Tihar Jail, Delhi.

The ED requested the extension, citing the critical phase of the investigation as grounds for the necessity of continued custody.Notably, his extension coincides with the end of the judicial custody of co-accused BRS leader K Kavitha.
