Covid pandemic fails to deter the spirit of PSPCL Corona warriors-CMD

PSPCL CMD A.Venu Prasad appreciated the esteemed services, efforts and outstanding role of  field  officers/officials  of PSPCL  for providing uninterrupted 24X7 power supply to   all kinds of health care institutions, hospitals and quarantine centers, since lockdown due to covid 19 pandemic.

CMD said that despite of covid 19, PSPCL has been providing daily 8 hours uninterrupted power supply to its 14 lacs agricultural tubewell consumers during paddy season and 24 hours uninterrupted power supply to all other categories of consumers.

CMD said that inspite of covid 19, PSPCL has achieved  several other mile stone also i.e. the PSPCL from its own hydel projects has surpassed the hydel energy production target set by the Central Electricity Authority for the first quarter of fiscal year 2020-21 .PSPCL has launched  an aggressive campaign against theft  of power in the state and yielded excellent results which will improve billing efficiency and bring down the losses.

Like doctors, police, civil administration PSPCL officers/officials have played a vital role of covid warriors  during the pandemic by providing uninterrupted power supply in the state.

CMD said that PSPCL has appointed a nodal officer at PSPCL head office  to take care of the officers/officials for covid related problems and similar nodal officers have also  been appointed at each zone level offices in the  PSPCL.

Covid pandemic fails to deter the spirit of PSPCL Corona warriors-CMD.In a message to all officers/officials  A.Venu Prasad  appealed  to follow government guidelines and take necessary precautions to safe guard themselves, their families  and  PSPCL’s esteemed consumers  from Covid 19 pandemic like wearing masks, maintaining  social distancing and sanitize hands regularly.
