Covid test camp organized by Bhai Ghaniya Health Centre, Punjabi University-Dr Ragina

“Following the Punjab Government guidelines, a free Covid 19 sampling (RT-PCR) camp was organized by Bhai Ghaniya Health Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala on 25Th Nov,2020 at University Model School, Patiala” said Dr Ragina Maini
The Camp was dedicated to Manav Sewa Sankalp Diwas(Death Anniversary of Bhai Ghaniyaji).
107 samples were taken by the team of CHC Tripuri (Civil Surgeon Patiala). The Camp was attended by the Dean (academics) Dr.Amrit Pal Kaur, Registrar Dr. DPS Sidhu, Dean Research Dr. GS Batra and Finance officer Dr. Rakesh Kumar.
Speaking on the occasion Dr.Amrit Pal Kaur said that people should come forward themselves for the sampling to detect the asymptomatic carriers.
Dr. DPS Sidhu, Registrar appreciated the efforts taken by the Health Centre in organizing the camp in collaboration with CHC ,Tripuri, Patiala.
Dr. GS Batra appreciated the efforts made by Bhai Ghaniya Health Centre during the whole Corona Pandemic.
Dr. Regina Maini ,SMO , Bhai Ghaniya Health Centre said as per the guidelines issued by Punjab Government the sampling of the University staff, employees and faculty has been done with the collaboration of CHC, Tripuri (office of Civil Surgeon, Patiala).

If faculty, staff, students requests for another round of sampling, we will call the team again, to curb this covid 19 menace”
