D-Day in Punjabi university; PUTA meeting with VC; Syndicate meeting scheduled

Today is a D-Day in Punjabi university, as many important things will happen. Punjabi university vice chancellor Ravneet Kaur IAS is coming to attend the meetings. She is already trying to break the ice, between her and the associations.
As per available information, earlier the finance committee meeting and syndicate meeting is scheduled through video conferencing, but now the VC is coming to the university.
Today a finance committee meeting is scheduled, to pass the university budget for this financial year, which is still pending.
At 12.30 pm Punjabi university vice chancellor Ravneet Kaur IAS is going to meet the representatives of Punjabi university teachers association, Class A, B,C employees association. At 3.00 pm, syndicate meeting on budget is planned to pass the budget.
University faculty, staff is waiting anxiously about the outcome of their planned meeting with the vice chancellor. They are in full enthusiasm, after yesterday meeting with member parliament from Patiala and wife of chief minister Punjab, Preneet Kaur. Preneet kaur had assured them to look into their issues and will resolve them, at the earliest.
Today’s meeting between the PUTA, Class A,B,C employees association with the vice chancellor, is arranged by Prteneet Kaur.
Another important decision, the university is going to take today is, to pass the university budget. Till now, University is not able to spend even a single rupee, since the beginning of the financial year, due to the non-clearance of its budget, by the syndicate of the university.
The things don’t stop here. Today is the first working day of the newly appointed registrar, dean academic affairs. Their appointment was opposed by the PUTA. Moreover PUTA had passed a resolution in its general body meeting, to oppose all the administrative appointments made the university authorities, till their demands were not met.

Last but not the least, the Class A, B, C employees association are also joining their duties in the administrative block 2, of the university, but with a condition that only salary section, accounts section, GPF section will work.
