DAV Patiala organised Model United Nations Conference 2018

Model United Nations – a Two Day Conference was organized in the premises of DAV Public School, Patiala. Approximately 100 students and teachers from many CBSE & ICSE affiliated schools from Punjab & Tricity acting as Delegates representing various Nations across the world enthusiastically participated and convincingly expressed their thoughts.
The delegates from various schools were divided in three committees i.e. United Nations General Assembly- III, United Nation Security Council and All India Political Parties Members enrolled with the ample knowledge, they discussed about the global issues.
During the Conference three Councils – United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) chaired by Ishnoor Singh Ghuman as Chairperson, Gagan Luthra as Vice Chairperson, Harshita Bhardwaj as Reporter. discussed and debated on Elimination of all forms of religious intolerance with special emphasis on islamophobia. All India Political Parties Members (AIPPM) where Pratyakesh Manocha, Shaurya Bhardwaj acted as Moderator whereas Snehal Walia was scribe of the committee.
They discussed the burning topics of “Impact and Progress of Economic Reforms in India” United Nations Security Council (UNSC) where Samridhi Seth and Pravar Dennison acted as President & Vice President assuringly discussed over “Maintenance of International Peace and security with special emphasis on peace building in post” and International Press was lead by Sanyam Bhardwaj.
