DC declares holiday on August 20 under negotiable instrument act

Deputy Commissioner Sangrur Jatinder Jorwal has declared a holiday in Sangrur district, under section 25 of negotiable instrument act 1881, on August 20, 2024, to pay respect the Shaheed Harchand Singh Longowal on his martyrdom day.
All offices, banks, educational institutes, etc. will remain closed on August 20,2024. The ongoing exams will be held as per the schedule.
