Despite CM’s announcement, it took almost 3 weeks for issuing appointment letter to Director Administration, PSPCL

On June 26,2023 morning, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann had announced the appointment of Jasbir Singh, a resident of village Sur Singh, Tehsil Patti, district Tarn-Taran as director administration Punjab state power corporation limited (PSPCL) and Nem Chand, resident of Sardulgarh district Mansa as director administration, Punjab state transmission corporation limited (PSTCL) through his social media account.
Immediately after the announcement made by the chief minister, Punjab state power corporation limited (PSPCL) management allotted a room to the newly appointed director administration and even installed his name plate outside the room.
But, no official orders of his appointment orders were issued for almost three weeks.
Today, principal secretary Power Tejveer Singh has issued a formal order of his appointment. He is appointed for a period of two years.
An officer on the condition of anonymity said, “Normally the official orders are issued on the same day or within a day or two after the announcement. But in this case, the time period is too long”
When contacted the principal secretary power, Tejveer Singh, he said “yesterday we had got the file and today we have issue the orders”
Meanwhile, newly appointed director administration could not be contacted despite attempt made by royalpatiala.in
