Do or Die: GIEAIA gives clarion call to intensify agitational programme; key issues were not part of agenda with DFS-Trilok

“Today, senior officials of department of financial services (DFS) conducted a review meeting of Public Sector General Insurance Companies (PSGICS). Unfortunately, the agenda did not include wage revision, uniform family pension at 30%, and 14% employer contribution on NPS, and these issues were not discussed. According to reliable sources, our legitimate demands were not in the Agenda” said Trilok Singh, General Secretary, GIEAIA while sharing feedback to its leadership, members, ex-members, employees, officers, and pensioners.
Trilok Singh, General Secretary, GIEAIA, added “in this situation, GIEAIA issues a clarion call to intensify our struggle. We appeal to all JFTU constituents to sharpen our ongoing struggle. We also urge our leadership, members, ex-members, employees, and officers of PSGICs to prepare for a massive and historic struggle, including strike actions if necessary.”
