Dr Akshita takes charge of Assistant Commissioner, Patiala

It was a proud moment for the 2021 batch Dr Akshita Gupta when she took charge of Assistant Commissioner (UT) under the kind leadership of Deputy Commissioner Patiala, Sakshi Sawhney.
Dr Akshita Gupta is the daughter of Dr Pawan Gupta who is the principal and Meena Gupta, a lecturer at Panchkula.
Dr Akshita cleared the UPSC exam in the first attempt and got 69 AIR. She is a doctor by profession as she has completed her MBBS from Government Medical College sec 32, Chandigarh.
She has completed her training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.
DC Patiala congratulated Dr Akshita Gupta and her parents. She added that the first posting leaves indelible memories in the life of an IAS officer.
Dr Akshita Gupta was delighted to get a wonderful torch bearer in name of Sakshi Sawhney and was excited to serve at District Patiala which is an important district in terms of population and administration.
Coming from Barada in Ambala District, parents showed their gratitude and appreciation for the first posting of their daughter.
