Dr Harshindar Kaur’s book ‘Important Issues In Pregnancy’ released

Dr Harshindar Kaur who is working as Senior Pediatric consultant at Govt. Medical College and Rajindra Hospital Patiala has authored a book titled Garabh Bare Mahatawpooran Jankari .
The book was released at the Senate Hall of Punjabi university by Dr BS Ghumman Vice Chancellor ,Dr Navtej K Purewal Deputy Director from University of London and Rekha Sharma Chairperson National Commission for women in the presence of other august personalities.
This is Dr Harshindar Kaur’s 40th book .Her previous two books have won her the awards from language department Punjab and one of her books in Shahmukhi has won her the Masud Khaddarposh Award of Pakistan .A hollywood film is underway on her book on female feticide.
Dr Harshindar Kaur is the daughter of the doyen of Punjabi literature Prof Pritam Singh .Her various articles have been included in the school curriculum of CBSE and some are being taught to BEd students .
Other books of Dr Harshindar encompass varied topics as importance of the mother tongue ,stories for children psychological problems of children, nutrition and atrocities on women . Her articles on various health issues being published in various magazines have made her book SARIR BARE ROCHAK JANKARI a rage .
The present book includes varied topics as usage of makeup in pregnancy ,nutrition ,effects of various maternal diseases on the health of the growing foetus. These topics are based on research and facts have been presented in a very lucid way in language that is easy to understand.
Dr Ghuman VC of Punjabi University congratulated Dr Harshindar for her book release and appreciated her tremendous efforts to serve her mother tongue.
