Dr. Harshinder Kaur’s book- Guru Nanak Diyan Manav Kalyankari Sikhyawan released

Dera Baba Nanak Utsav’ was organized on the eve of the 550th prakash purb of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the opening of Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, the presentations by the young artists on the religious themes held the sangat spellbound.
On the occasion, a book penned by eminent scholar Dr. Harshinder Kaur titled ‘Guru Nanak Diyan Manav Kalyankari Sikhyawan’ was also released by the Cooperation and Jails Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and other religious personalities. Expressing her views, Dr. Harshinder Kaur said that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji accorded a very respectable status to women and the need of the hour is to follow the philosophy of Guru Sahib in that respect. The scholar also exhorted people to work unitedly in order to eradicate various societal evils. Dr. Harshinder Kaur’s book- Guru Nanak Diyan Manav Kalyankari Sikhyawan released.
The utsav was organized courtesy all the institutions of the cooperative sector of Punjab saw ‘Online Youth Festival’ being held, the results of which were announced on the last day. The winners were given cash prizes worth Rs. 15.90 lakh by Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. The Overall winner was Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar which was felicitated with the cash prize of Rs. 1.01 lakh. The colleges affiliated to the university won 18 prizes while the Panjab University, Chandigarh came 2nd and the Punjabi University, Patiala bagged 3rd position.
Among others present on the occasion were included the Head of Sant Samaj Baba Sarbjot Singh Bedi, Sant Baba Hari Singh Randhawa, Sant Jagjit Singh Harkhowal, Sant Surinder Singh Mohali, Sant Harjinder Singh Johlan, Giani Nachhattar Singh Bhindran, Veer Jaivinder Singh Cheema, Sant Baba Sudh Singh Toose, Baba Pal Singh Lohian, Sant Gurmeet Singh Khosa Kotla, Bhai Anbhol Singh Diwana, and Baba Jasbir Singh, Deputy Commissioner Vipul Ujjwal, MD Milkfed Kamaldeep Singh Sangha, MD Punjab Agricultural Development Bank Charandev Singh Mann, Utsav Coordinator Amarjit Singh Grewal, Dr. Nirmal Jaura, DEO Rakesh Bala and Incharge of the Children’s programme Parminder Singh.
