DSLA Bathinda organised a Self Defence Workshop

On the directions of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) and Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS, Nagar, Mohali, under the aegis of Paramjeet Singh, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Bathinda, Dr. Mandeep Mittal, CJM/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Bathinda, organised a Self Defence Workshop for Women for the students  of Govt. Middle School, Village Joganand.

Pardeep Sharma, the world Record Holder, stated that the camp will continue for one week in which various tips will be given to the students to protect themselves. On this occasion, the Secretary stated that the crime against women is increasing and the females are required to be trained to fight against the ill-treatment of the female.

DSLA Bathinda organised a Self Defence Workshop for Women

The Secretary encourage the girls students to participate as equip themselves with self protection techniques. The girl students were encouraged to continue their studies after passing out the eighth class from this middle school. It was announced that on Friday, a debate competition will be organised on the topics of Social Media, female infanticide and environment protection.

Besides this, the students were made aware about the new Schedule of National Lok Adalat which is to be held on 10.02.2018 and they were encouraged to make the litigants aware about the days of National Lok Adalats so that the people can take maximum benefits out of the Lok Adalats.
