Due to MLA’s disrespectful behavior Punjab Revenue Officers Association declared indefinite strike

Punjab Revenue Officers Association has announced an indefinite strike from Monday due to the disrespectful behavior of Aam Aadmi Party’s Rupnagar MLA Advocate Dinesh Chadha.
The Punjab Revenue Officers Association comprising naib tehsildars, tehsildars, district revenue officers has passed a resolution condemning the behavior, working, mental torture of the ruling party MLA from Rupnagar, Dinesh Chadha.
As per Punjab Revenue Officers Association’s “MLA is unnecessarily interfering in their day to day working, doing media trial and mentally harassing, humiliating the officers. In the latest incident, when the Punjab is passing through a difficult situation of floods, on July 18,2023, the MLA entered tehsil complex, in the name of surprise checking and done a media trial, humiliate the tehsildar, patwari, registry clerk. He often uses derogatory remarks, unwanted words to the revenue staff, Kannugo, Patwari, clerical staff and humiliates them.”
“So, today, the association has decided to go on indefinite strike but the staff will perform their flood duties “ said the spokesperson of the association.
Meanwhile, the MLA is not contacted for comments due to late evening reporting.
